CalWORKs Emergency Payment Program (CEPP)
Program Overview
CEPP provides emergency payments for services, information, and referrals to support the continuation of employment and educational
goals for participants referred by the county’s CalWORKs program. Please note: in order to participate in this program, you must already be enrolled in, or apply to CalWORKs.
Services
CalWORKS Emergency Payment Program provides advocacy, referrals, and guidance for participants who are dealing with merchants, mechanics, service providers, landlords, etc. to negotiate purchases, contracts and service agreements. Participants are also given information about food banks, rental assistance programs, energy assistance programs, or legal and consumer advocacy services, among others. Lastly, the project supplies emergency supportive service payments as authorized by CalWORKs staff.
Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday:
10:00 am – 12:00 pm &
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
